Universe Crystal Research Methodology
The Universe Crystal Project adopts an open and iterative research methodology inspired by the development model of open source projects.
Unlike traditional research, which is typically organized around individual papers and discrete publication cycles, Universe Crystal develops through continuous exploration, transparent publication, iterative refinement, and long-term conceptual evolution.
Open Project
The project is developed openly.
Concepts, publications, releases, and research progress are published continuously through the project website and GitHub, making the evolution of the framework transparent and traceable.
Iterative Development
Research is an ongoing process rather than a sequence of isolated publications.
New ideas are continuously explored through writing and discussion. When meaningful progress has been achieved, an official Release is published. If the conceptual framework changes, the Canonical Baseline is updated accordingly.
Research Reports are milestone publications that consolidate significant stages of research rather than continuous working documents.
Topic-driven Research
Research begins with individual questions.
Each Discovery article explores a single topic or research question. After a topic has matured through multiple Discovery articles, it is consolidated into a framework-oriented Essay that presents a systematic understanding of the subject.
Continuous Review
Review is integrated into the entire research lifecycle.
Concepts are continuously refined through writing, discussion, comparison with existing knowledge, and AI-assisted evaluation. Final conceptual decisions always remain the responsibility of the project.
Long-term Vision
The Universe Crystal Project is intended to evolve as a living research ecosystem rather than a collection of independent publications.
Its objective is to support transparent, traceable, and continuously evolving original research in natural philosophy.
