From Level-1 Organizations to Level-2 Organizations
In the previous article, the concept of the Level-1 closed organization had already been established.
Within the Universe Crystal framework, electrons can be interpreted as Level-1 closed organizations.
The next objective therefore becomes clear.
If Universe Crystal is to provide an organizational interpretation of the Standard Model, establishing only Level-1 organizations is not sufficient.
The next question naturally becomes:
How can multiple Level-1 organizations form a Level-2 organization through the language of Universe Crystal?
If this question can be answered, the most fundamental organizational hierarchy of the Standard Model may also begin to find an organizational correspondence.
Relationships Must Also Form a New Closure
Simply placing several Level-1 organizations together does not automatically create a new organization.
Relationships must also be established between them through Open Textures.
The key challenge is therefore not the Level-1 organizations themselves, but the Open Textures that connect them.
Only when these Open Textures collectively form a new relational closure can multiple Level-1 organizations become a new unified whole.
A Level-2 closed organization is therefore not merely a collection of Level-1 organizations.
It is a new organization that emerges when the Open Textures between them collectively establish a higher-level relational closure.
This becomes the essential step toward understanding higher organizational structures.
Why Not Two?
The simplest possibility is two Level-1 organizations.
Two Level-1 organizations can certainly be connected through Open Textures.
However, those Open Textures cannot collectively establish a new relational closure.
They create relationships, but they do not create a new closed whole.
Without a new closure, there is no distinction between an inside and an outside.
Yet protons and neutrons clearly possess spatial extent, implying the existence of both an interior and an exterior.
This suggests that two Level-1 organizations alone are insufficient to form a genuine Level-2 organization.
Why Three?
If two cannot establish a new closure, what about three?
When three Level-1 organizations become connected through Open Textures, those Open Textures can collectively form a new relational closure for the first time.
As a result, the three Level-1 organizations become a unified organizational whole.
A new organizational level emerges.
This is the Level-2 closed organization.
A natural question then follows.
Why not four?
If three Level-1 organizations already establish the simplest relational closure capable of producing a new organizational whole, introducing additional Level-1 organizations is no longer necessary for the most fundamental Level-2 structure.
The resulting interpretation is remarkably simple.
Three Level-1 organizations form a new relational closure through Open Textures, giving rise to a Level-2 closed organization.
The Standard Model Begins to Find an Organizational Correspondence
Once this organizational structure becomes clear, the Standard Model begins to reveal an unexpected correspondence.
Within the Universe Crystal framework,
- Electrons and quarks can be interpreted as Level-1 closed organizations.
- Protons and neutrons can be interpreted as Level-2 closed organizations, formed when three Level-1 organizations become unified through a relational closure established by Open Textures.
For the first time, the most fundamental organizational hierarchy of the Standard Model begins to find a coherent organizational interpretation through the language of Universe Crystal.
Moving one level higher,
protons, neutrons, and electrons combine to form atoms.
Within the Universe Crystal framework,
atoms can therefore be understood as Level-3 organizations.
At least within the Foundation stage of this research, the basic organizational hierarchy underlying the Standard Model has now obtained an initial organizational interpretation.
An Unexpected Discovery
While exploring how three Level-1 organizations form a Level-2 organization, another unexpected insight emerged.
When three Level-1 organizations become unified through a relational closure, a distinction between an inside and an outside also appears for the first time.
This observation suggests that space may not simply be a pre-existing background.
Instead, it may be fundamentally connected to the way organizations are formed.
Nature also appears to favor three Level-1 organizations in constructing the most fundamental Level-2 organization—rather than two or four.
If three Level-1 organizations create the simplest possible relational closure, the origin of spatial dimensions may also be rooted in this fundamental organizational pattern.
Within the Universe Crystal framework, the simplest relational closure formed by three Level-1 organizations not only gives rise to the first Level-2 organization, but also establishes the distinction between an inside and an outside.
From this first organizational boundary, spatial dimensions emerge naturally as a fundamental property of organized existence.
A Much Broader Exploration
This discovery also opens a much broader research direction.
If electrons, quarks, protons, and neutrons can all be interpreted organizationally,
how should the formation of atoms be understood through Universe Crystal?
If atoms can form molecules,
how should chemical reactions be described?
If protons and neutrons can reorganize,
how should nuclear reactions be understood?
Beyond these questions, can the intrinsic properties of elementary particles—such as electric charge, spin, and other fundamental characteristics—also receive unified organizational interpretations?
Can particle interactions, the nature of space and time, and many other fundamental phenomena of modern physics likewise be understood through the same organizational language?
At this point, the scope of Universe Crystal extends beyond an organizational interpretation of the Standard Model.
The research gradually evolves into a broader exploration of whether the fundamental phenomena of modern physics can be understood through a unified organizational framework.
From this point forward, the focus moves beyond establishing organizational hierarchies toward a larger objective:
To explore whether the fundamental phenomena of modern physics can be systematically described through the language of Universe Crystal.
